Maintaining Building Appearance
Many building exteriors accumulate dirt and grime from automotive exhaust emissions, which often contain oily residues. However, when the original construction materials are treated with a photocatalyst and coated with a titanium protective film, the building gains self-cleaning properties. This is achieved through its ability to become antistatic, highly oxidative, and hydrophilic. As a result, the hydrocarbons from automotive exhaust are oxidized, and rainwater effortlessly washes away the accumulated dirt on the walls, ensuring that the building's exterior remains consistently clean.
